About our Presenter, Blenda Ruiz
Blenda Ruiz is a Staff Attorney with the Texas Children’s Medical-Legal Partnership with Houston Volunteer Lawyers. She has experience with various types of civil matters. She has assisted clients in the areas of family law, immigration law, employment discrimination, landlord/tenant disputes, social security law, consumer law, probate, estate planning, housing law, public benefits, and other disability rights matters. She joined Houston Volunteer Lawyers, when the Southeast Texas Legal Clinic merged with Houston Volunteer Lawyers. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law.
