Kin Lock

Dr. Kin Lock, M.D. has proudly called Houston home since 1971. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed his Pediatrics Residency at UT Houston. Dr. Lock has been board-certified in Pediatrics since 1989, dedicating decades to providing compassionate care for children and adolescents. He has served as the Chairman of the Pediatrics Department at HCA West and was honored as Physician of the Year by the Macgregor Medical Association. 

For Dr. Lock, pediatrics is more than a profession—it's a passion. His greatest joy comes from connecting with children and adolescents, helping them navigate both physical and emotional challenges. Dr. Lock believes that pediatric care is not only about healing illnesses but also about guiding young patients as they grow. His longstanding relationships with families have allowed him to earn their trust, making him a first point of contact not only for medical needs but also for emotional support and guidance. Dr. Lock’s goal is to foster a space where his patients and their families feel heard, valued, and empowered to embrace healthy futures.
