About Todd Merry

Todd Merry, LCDC, has been dedicated to healthcare since 1996. Holding an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in physical rehabilitation from Kilgore College, Todd has a rich background in neurologic physical rehabilitation and addiction recovery. His extensive undergraduate coursework in healthcare management further complements his expertise. 

In 2018, Todd returned to school at the Institute of Chemical Dependency Studies in Houston, earning his Certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling in 2019. Since then, he has worked in various addiction care settings, including Medication Assisted Treatment, Inpatient Detox, Residential Care, Intensive Outpatient, and Partial Hospitalization. His leadership roles have included Clinical Director of Physical Rehabilitation and Clinical Team Lead in Residential Addiction Care. Todd specializes in the neuroscience of addiction and trauma recovery, a topic he has presented on in multiple settings.

Personally committed to recovery since 1992, Todd regularly participates in 12 Step communities. His interests are diverse, including ongoing recovery research, road/mountain/gravel cycling, cooking traditional Cajun dishes, and spending quality time with his daughter at thrift shops and baseball games. He also enjoys attending Mass at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Community in Katy, TX. Currently, Todd is working towards completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at SNHU, with the goal of advancing his education in Clinical Social Work to broaden his ability to serve those in need.
