Behavioral

AccessHealth offers counseling services to persons dealing with emotional difficulties, including depression, anxiety, relationship and family concerns, life stressors, school behavior problems, and more. Our Behavioral Health team works closely with primary care providers to educate patients on how to handle troubling thoughts, feelings and actions in relation to their medical or emotional concerns. It is our goal to encourage lasting relationships, reassuring patients that we are here to help and to inspire patients to overcome challenges and problems while exploring life choices.

AccessHealth’s Behavioral Health services are available at all AccessHealth locations and via telehealth. Services are offered in English and Spanish to children, teenagers, and adults. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance, as well as offer a sliding fee scale based on income and family size.

CORE Team
Behavioral Health Support

AccessHealth offers a unique multi-level behavioral health treatment program that allows our team of Substance Use and Mental Health Professionals the ability to provide Patient-centric care through Access & Customization.

The First level, and the heart of the Behavioral Health Program, is the AccessHealth CORE Team. This team of Behavioral Health Support Specialists provide clients with a wide range of services beginning with initial screenings and assessments. Upon entry into the Program, clients work directly with the CORE team to explore education and treatment options. During this process treatment and referral goals are set, care plans are developed, and collaborations with other AccessHealth resources are established. CORE team services are provided on a weekly basis to help clients develop and practice positive coping strategies, self-care exercises, and healthy habits. Services are initiated immediately upon request, and continue in 4-week units, with the goal of empowering clients toward self-care and self-sufficiency, while maintaining a supportive and consistent presence as they begin and/or wait for services from higher level providers and resources.

The AccessHealth CORE team services also consist of,

  • Integrated Behavioral Health screenings and brief interventions
  • Client Support Groups
  • Education & support for family members, caregivers and loved ones of Behavioral Health Clients
  • Community Outreach & Behavioral Health Education
