AccessHealth Kicks Off Back-To-School Season with Successful Community Breakfast

RICHMOND, Texas (July 27, 2026) – AccessHealth officially kicked off its 2026 Back-To-School season this morning with a successful Back-To-School Breakfast, bringing together community leaders, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and supporters in preparation for the organization's annual Back-To-School Health Fairs.

The breakfast celebrated the power of community collaboration and the shared commitment to helping local students begin the school year healthy, prepared, and ready to succeed. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and supporters, the event raised nearly $15,000 during the breakfast, bringing this year's Back-To-School campaign total to more than $115,000, including sponsorships and donations.

The event was hosted by Emily Scherer and Aimee Frederick of the Born in the Bend Podcast, alongside Wright Junior High student Sophia Palacios, whose energy and enthusiasm helped make the morning both engaging and inspiring.

"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and supported this year's kickoff," said Palak Jalan, CEO of AccessHealth. "The generosity of our community allows us to provide thousands of children with the healthcare services, school supplies, and resources they need to start the school year with confidence."
